  1. You agree to the following as regards in-person, online and recorded classes:

Bookings and payment

Please pre-book your class online as space is limited to eight mats due to social distancing restrictions. This involves paying in full.

Classes can be purchased individually or as a class pass or membership. All classes, passes and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Six class passes expire two months after purchase.

Bookings are all made online and no cash will be taken at The Studio. By booking a class, you automatically agree to these terms and conditions.

All class participants must be 18 years or over. All under-18s require written consent from a parent and or legal guardian to come to a class, workshop or event at The Studio.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to amend prices and printing errors.

The same terms and conditions apply for online classes via Zoom.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are nonrefundable and nontransferable. They can be used for any classes or workshops ran by the teachers at This Is Yoga.

Cancellations

All class cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before class starts. If you do not cancel before this time, then there is no refund for single class payments or on class passes. In the case of workshops, we operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. As a small studio, this policy is necessary in order for us to operate. Thank you for your understanding.

If This Is Yoga has to cancel a class, course, workshop or event, a full refund will be offered/the class will not be taken off your pass.

Be aware that the timetable will change regularly. Refunds will not be offered on class passes because of this. We endeavor to deliver all our classes as per the schedule and as advertised. However, classes are subject to change without notice. We might need to make minor changes to the services it provides and we reserve the right to do so. For example, due to class times, teacher substitutes or bad weather.

This Is Yoga may have to change the services it provides to reflect Government advice, laws and regulatory requirements. If Government advice is to close the yoga studio due to the risk of Covid-19, classes will continue online.

Risks and responsibilities

Using The Studio at This Is Yoga and its facilities, denotes the acceptance of the risk associated with all forms of physical exercise, before, during and after class.

Students use the facilities at their own risk. It is recommended that This Is Yoga students seek medical advice before starting a fitness regime.

Janine Thomas, This Is Yoga and staff will not be held liable for any injury or harm resulting in participation in classes or use of facilities, OR any damage of loss of personal property. This Is Yoga does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the studio, its staff or agents, but otherwise excludes all liability to students attending classes.
